About Little Ol Me: Well... I suppose you clicked this link to learn a bit about me and what makes me qualified to discuss the things I'm talking about. The truth is everything I've learned I've learned from either trial and error or by observing how other people do things. Add in some good books which I'll list at the bottom of this page and most people with a shred of common sense should be able to stumble their way through dog training or gardening with a reasonable amount of success. About me in general. I was born March 5th 1981 in western Washington State. When I was in 2nd grade I moved to Port Angeles, WA and at the age of 8 got my first pet. A rabbit named Licorice. I joined 4-H and life went on from there. I got lots more rabbits, cavies, mice and other small rodents, and eventually reptiles. I showed animals pretty extensively for about 10 years. My goals in school fluctuated over time as with many people and before I knew it I was out of time and had to join the workforce. I moved to Colorado Springs and got a great job with T Mobile USA as a customer care representative and eventually went into resource planning and transferred back to Washington to work at a local call center. This job didn't pan out the way I had hoped and I now currently have a job working for Petco and I am currently going to school at Skagit Community College to hopefully finish up some degrees. My dream has always been to have a small farm of my own. Not because I had any idea that it'll be like some Norman Rockwell painting but rather because I think it's an authentic lifestyle to lead. This dream has been under steady adaptation for years and I've had to make some hard decisions in life to make things happen. It continues to be the dream and we'll see how things progress over time. Life is one of those funny things. It never seems to work out exactly the way someone expects it to and I think in the end that is completely ok. I live a rich life and have the greatest friends on earth, the best dogs ever born, and still manage to be sleep deprived, work long hours, and fail to complete my laundry regularly. Life isn't always perfect. Just remember, head up, shoulders back and keep walking.
